These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Talioop (the “Service”), a cognitive offloading platform operated by Stellar Generations (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.
2. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at brent@talioop.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of the loops and any other content you submit (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service, including running Auto Type and Auto Organize (AI features) through Anthropic’s API as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell Your Content and we do not use it to train foundation models.
You represent that you have all necessary rights to Your Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party right.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload content that is unlawful, harassing, sexually exploitative of minors, infringing, or that discloses another person’s private information without consent.
- Probe, scan, or attempt to breach the security of the Service, or access data that is not yours.
- Use automated means (scrapers, bots) to access the Service outside our published API, or impose an unreasonable load on the infrastructure.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
- Resell, white-label, or sublicense the Service without our written permission.
5. AI feature disclaimer
The Service uses AI (currently Anthropic’s Claude) for two features: Auto Type, which classifies a loop into a type (TASK, IDEA, HABIT, EVENT, etc.), and Auto Organize, which suggests a parent loop. AI output can be wrong, offensive, or misleading. You must independently verify any AI-generated suggestion before relying on it. The Service is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or mental-health advice.
6. Subscriptions
Talioop Pro is offered via in-app subscription:
- Talioop Pro Weekly — auto-renewing subscription billed at the price shown in the App Store at the time of purchase.
- Talioop Pro Yearly — auto-renewing subscription billed at the price shown in the App Store at the time of purchase.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account on confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews at the end of each period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the cost of the chosen package.
You may manage and cancel subscriptions at any time by going to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device. No partial refunds for cancellations made mid-period.
7. Service availability
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but we do not guarantee uptime. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice and a way to export Your Content.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by following §5 of the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. On termination we will delete Your Content per the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TALIOOP IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (OR USD 100 IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US ANYTHING).
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York, NY.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date, and where reasonable we will email the address on your account. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
